With the official launch of the OrthoMetiQ WebPlanner, a new generation of digital preoperative planning is now available. The browser-based application has been developed specifically for modern orthopedic implant planning and enables structured, precise and efficient planning for hip and knee procedures - without local installation, without complex IT barriers and with direct access through the web browser. The OrthoMetiQ WebPlanner is now available with fully usable product modules for hip and knee. Users can access a wide range of established measurement and analysis tools, insert implant templates and document clinically relevant planning parameters within a modern, clearly structured digital workspace.
Hip Planning with Intelligent Measurement and Repositioning Functions
The hip module of the OrthoMetiQ WebPlanner provides essential tools for digital preoperative hip planning. These include classic measurements such as femoral offset, leg length discrepancy, the CCD angle, relevant FAI measurements and 2D anteversion analysis using ellipse-based methods.A key advantage lies in the intelligent repositioning logic. Stem and cup components can be repositioned automatically, while relevant planning values are updated within seconds. When the user changes the neck length, for example, the WebPlanner immediately recalculates the corresponding values and supports a significantly more efficient assessment of the planned reconstruction.
Time-consuming manual adjustments, repeated repositioning and unnecessary correction steps are therefore substantially reduced.
Knee Planning with Mechanical Axis Analysis and Dynamic Implant Alignment
The knee module has also been comprehensively developed and provides a professional foundation for the preoperative planning of bicondylar and unicondylar knee procedures. The focus is on mechanical axis analysis, axis and resection correction and the ability to represent kinematic alignment concepts by adjusting resection angles through only a few defined inputs. The knee implants automatically align according to the selected planning parameters. A particularly important feature is the synchronized visualization and adjustment of implant templates in both the frontal and lateral plane. This allows implant positioning, axis relationships and sagittal planning parameters to be efficiently evaluated together.
In addition, a slope measurement in the lateral view is available, allowing sagittal parameters to be precisely incorporated into the planning workflow.
Implant Templates Available Within Hours Instead of Long Waiting Times
One of the key strengths of OrthoMetiQ is the rapid provision of digital implant templates. Through newly developed intelligent technology and decades of experience in digital preoperative planning, the OrthoMetiQ CAD team is able to make new implant templates available to end users within only a few hours. This significantly reduces long waiting times and creates a practical solution for clinics, practices and users who wish to plan with their familiar implant systems. The database is continuously expanded: new optimizations, new features and additional implant templates are added every week.
Three Attractive Subscription Models and a 15-Day Trial Period
For the launch, OrthoMetiQ offers three attractive subscription models designed for different requirements and usage profiles. In addition, a 15-day trial period is available, allowing interested users to explore the OrthoMetiQ WebPlanner, test its functions and experience the advantages of a fully browser-based planning environment.Getting started is deliberately simple: users can create a demo account under “My OrthoMetiQ” and begin planning directly in the browser.
1st Class Support from a Qualified Team
In addition to its technology, OrthoMetiQ places strong emphasis on personal support and fast response times. The qualified support team combines medical-technical expertise with many years of experience in digital planning, template creation and clinically oriented user support.Through internally developed processes and smart proprietary technology, OrthoMetiQ is able to provide fast, competent and targeted assistance - from initial setup to database questions and individual application support.
